Meet the Team
Get to know the owner and creator of Northwest BOD and her skilled team that she couldn't run the studio without!

Owner
Blaire Rummel
Hi! My name is Blaire Rummel. I'm a Christian, a proud firefighter and veteran's wife, a mom of two beautiful kids, and I own and operate Northwest BOD. I started this vision over 5 years ago in the parks of Bend and my very own garage. Over time, the tribe of Northwest BOD has grown into a powerful and supportive community of Central Oregonians, and it has been an absolute blessing to help build an integrative approach to fitness each year to help our members achieve their goals.
I combine my experience as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my certifications and advanced qualifications as a NASM, FMS-II, and TRX personal trainer to create a program that gives you lifestyle-changing solutions. I've added a team of experienced treatment and training professionals with vast training backgrounds as well to make Northwest BOD even more effective for each of our members. We take pride in treating each person who walks in the door with an individualized and passionate approach, and are committed to "filling in the gaps" of traditional fitness training systems that leave so many people injured, disappointed and unmotivated. We want to "see you", "listen to you", "help you" and "provide multiple options" to help you conquer your goals!

Group fitness coach and personal trainer
Courtney Ringer
Courtney has been living in Bend since 1992, and holds many special memories as she has built many friendships over the last few decades in this beautiful city. She met her husband in the 4th grade at Elk Meadow Elementary and married him in 2007. They have a 14-year old son who she currently trains in a semi-private training program at the studio alongside some other talented baseball teammates of his.
She started her professional career 17 years ago as a medical assistant/opthalmic technician. And her love of fitness led her to start teaching barre classes in 2018. She came to Northwest BOD in 2020, and in 2022 she became a NASM-certified trainer which catapulted her into coaching group fitness classes here at the studio. She also provides personal and semi-private training here, where she shares her diverse background in core, mobility and athletic training systems.
Outside of the gym, she loves gardening, tending to her chickens and ducks, camping, fishing and being with her family as much as possible.
Courtney has blown Blaire away with her work ethic and intense passion to help each member and client on a daily basis. She provides helpful modifications and guides each member safely and intentionally. She is greatly loved by everyone and has made a consistent impact in the lives of so many already who've entered our studio.

Group fitness coach and personal trainer
Meghan Johnson
Meghan grew up in Tomales, CA., a small ranch town where she excelled in basketball, volleyball and softball throughout high school. She earned her BA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She then started a 10-year career in recruitment, where she loved learning about people's backgrounds and strengths. She worked for a global recruitment firm and a tech executive search firm, helped build out the teams of small Silicon Valley startups, and was most recently at Google before having children and transitioning to being a stay-at-home mom.
While at Google, she took her first HIIT class, picked up weights and fell in love with strength training. She moved to Bend with her husband and two daughters in 2021, and then became certified through NASM as a personal trainer once her kids started school.
Meghan is currently teaching multiple group fitness classes at Northwest BOD and providing personal and semi-private training as well. She is a fiercely talented addition and is also loved by so many of our members. Meghan is clearly passionate about helping others achieve their goals through strength training, stability and mobility, muscle growth and endurance, and injury prevention. Blaire has appreciated Meghan's can-do attitude and ability to connect emotionally with each of the members. Alongside Courtney, she is an invaluable part of what makes this studio so impactful.
